🚨 SUCCESSFUL VEHICLE RECOVERY 🚨 #JMPD K9 Unit Officers successfully intercepted a silver Nissan Qashqai in La Rochelle after it flagged Vumacam alerts in the Mondeor area. Officers stopped the vehicle with 3 occupants (a female driver and 2 children). The driver claimed the car was bought legitimately. Further investigation revealed the vehicle's identity had been tampered with. DataDot verification linked it to an armed robbery case registered at Orange Farm SAPS. The driver and children were released following initial inquiries. A follow-up investigation will be conducted to trace where and from whom the vehicle was purchased. The hijacked vehicle has been secured and booked in at the SAPS Aeroton vehicle pound for further processing. Relentless patrols keep our communities safe.
