π π¨π£πππ§π | ππ πͺππ§ππ₯πππ‘π§ π₯πππ‘ππ’πͺ ππ₯π’π¦π¦ππ‘π Some residents may have noticed that the Rainbow Crossing in De Waterkant is currently looking rather different β and very pink! π©· Unfortunately, the crossing was vandalised over the weekend, causing significant damage to the rainbow surface. City officials moved quickly to repair the crossing, but unfortunately not all of the specialised paint colours required to restore the full rainbow are currently available. The outstanding colours have been ordered, with an expected lead time of approximately three months. Rather than leave the crossing damaged in the meantime, it has temporarily been painted solid pink, taking some inspiration from Lisbonβs well-known βPink Streetβ. π The rainbow has not disappeared permanently. Once all the required colours have arrived, the intention is to restore the Rainbow Crossing to its full rainbow design. The Rainbow Crossing has become a colourful feature of De Waterkant, For now, think pink β the rainbow will return shortly π©·
