Johannesburg Water’s planned throttling at Meadowlands Reservoir is affecting Meadowlands East, with the restriction expected to end around 05:00 on 17 October. Zone 1 has no water; a water truck is at Pilane in Zone 2, where water is flowing slowly on Madiba Street. Thababosigo, Moshoeshoe and Sechele streets in Zone 2 have no water. Water is reported back on Modjadji Street, though another person there says they still have no water. In Meadowlands East Zone 2, water is coming up but pressure remains low; the source expects it to improve as the day progresses. Water in Zone 3 was reported back about 30 minutes before 03:27 on 17 October.
