Partial restoration

Electricity remains off in Hatfield and other reported affected areas; some people report power is back, while others are still without it. Councillor Tiaan Dippenaar says the outage was escalated to the depot as a block outage, with a trip at Lynnwood or Hillcrest Substation considered the most likely cause. The City’s first progress update is expected at 09:00 on 14 October.
