About these figures
Votes cast 50 426 · spoilt 818 · special votes 1 292 · All 32 voting districts in · the IEC marks the results complete
Ward figures are the sum of the IEC's voting-district results for each ward (the IEC does not publish national/provincial results per ward).
Note: the IEC lists every party twice (identical rows: same party, ballot and votes) for this municipality; each is counted once, and the parties then add up to the IEC's TotalValidVotes.
Note: Merafong City national ballot: wards (sum of VDs) vs IEC municipal total: children sum to 69318, IEC parent total is 49608 (difference 19710).
Percentages are calculated from the IEC's vote counts. Official results: results.elections.org.za.
