No internet - no electricity No Vodacom (signal not showing) Lots of ‘shoppers’ from the settlements !….. If power is out - ARMED RESPONSE - (AR) dies! This is sooooooooooooooo dangerous Rate payers are sooooooooooo vulnerable?! What happened to SAP? Where is LE (law enforcement local municipality) ? Also useless! Lived all over the world and was never threatened or stolen from for 26 years and came here to be robbed 3 x the last 2 years …. In my own country! Concerned that standards and expectations here is down to : ‘Be verdraagsaam’ ‘Be grateful’ ‘Cannot change anything’ REALLY? Escom charge the most expensive rates ever and pay themselves R 4.5 billion in bonuses and the slightest storm = power out ??? (Not positive after 24 hours with no electricity - take the ‘badge’ back! And PLEASE do not respond with ‘verdraagsaam’ …. Step back and see for yourself: ‘Verdraagsaam’ is a shield to hide and not take action!)
