Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) Drug Unit members have taken another drug dealer off the streets of Tshwane for possession and dealing in drugs. On 15 September 2026, the TMPD Drug Unit arrested a 38‑year‑old Zimbabwean national for possession of drugs in Valhalla following a tip‑off. During a routine patrol, members received information about a suspicious vehicle driving around the area. They immediately coordinated a lookout for the vehicle. The vehicle was traced and intercepted in the area. A search of the vehicle was immediately conducted and drugs were found concealed inside the vehicle panels. The recovered drugs have an estimated street value of R6 000 and were confiscated. The suspect was detained and will appear in court soon on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
