MISSING CHILD: 13-YEAR-OLD BOY Police in Tembisa are appealing to members of the public for assistance in tracing 13-year-old Morena Matjila, who has been reported missing. Morena reportedly disappeared on 2 July 2026 after leaving his home in Tembisa without informing anyone of his whereabouts. At the time, he was wearing a blue jacket, black tracksuit pants, a brown T-shirt and brown sports shoes. Anyone who may have seen Morena or has information that could help police determine his whereabouts is urged to contact Warrant Officer SW Maela on 011 926 2970, or report the information to the nearest police station. All information received will be treated with strict confidentiality.

Emergency water supply interruption in Tembisa (Ethafeni section) due to a burst pipe. Affected areas may experience no water supply from 28 June 2026, 15:00 to 29 June 2026, 11:00. Repairs are ongoing with tankers dispatched.
