PUBLIC NOTICE | INTERRUPTION OF REFUSE COLLECTION SERVICES
The Municipality hereby informs all residents and businesses that refuse collection services have been temporarily interrupted due to an unexpected breakdown of a waste collection truck.
As a result the following areas are affected:
1. Group 5
2. Thabazimbi CBD
3. Amandelbult
4. Regorogile Extension 3
5. Appiesdoorn
The municipality is working to resolve the machanical problem as quickly as possible and every effort is being made to restore the service at the earliest opportunity.
Residents and businesses in the affected areas are kindly requested to:
- keep their refuse on
their premises until
collection services
resume.
- Avoid placing refuse
bags on sidewalks or
public spaces to
prevent littering
and scavenging
by animals.
The Municipality sincely apologises for the inconvenience caused and appreciates your patience and understanding while repairs are being undertaken.
