Good day, residents. This is Elsje Truter aspirant candidate for the DA Local Government Elections 2026. We have received confirmation from the Capital Park Control Room that there has been a 132 kV trip originating from the Bella Ombre Substation within the City Centre network. This outage is affecting a large area, including the City Centre, Pretoria North, Sinoville, Montana, and surrounding areas. We are currently working to establish the exact cause of the trip and are awaiting confirmation from the Switching and Testing teams. We kindly ask for your patience while the necessary investigations are underway. As soon as we receive confirmed information or an estimated restoration time, I will provide a further update.
