On 12 June, TMPD and partners conducted a "Rea Spana" multi-departmental operation in Pretoria North targeting illegal trading and non-compliant utility connections, leading to disconnections, fines, vehicle inspections, 18 arrests (mostly alcohol-related), and one drug-related arrest.
