Wanted vehicle located at Heidelberg Mall A vehicle reportedly wanted by Sandton SAPS in connection with an armed robbery and murder investigation was located at Heidelberg Mall on Sunday morning, 9 August. AfriForum Heidelberg, SAPS and private security worked together to locate and secure the vehicle. CCTV footage also assisted in identifying the person believed to be its owner. The vehicle was handed over to SAPS and will be booked into SAPS 13 as the investigation continues.

On behalf of the HDTA Executive Committee, members, drivers, and marshals, we extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the MOKOENA FAMILY, relatives, friends, loved ones, and the entire Lesedi community during this difficult time. We pray that God grants you strength, comfort, and peace as you mourn this painful loss. As one of the key stakeholders in our community, HDTA respectfully appeals to all residents to remain calm and allow the law to take its course. We urge everyone to give the relevant law enforcement authorities the opportunity to conduct their investigations so that justice may prevail.
