I had to go out early this morning and as traffic was light had the benefit of viewing surroundings without worrying about wreckless taxi drivers! Alberton has gone to dogs! When I moved here 30 years ago, it was one of the top municipalities! Now potholes abound, serious example traffic circle Du Plessis a pothole has become almost width of road due to months of inaction! Traffic lights are going out one after another and it's months before they are fixed! The right or left turning arrows on those that do allow, have not been working for years! Lights are never synchonised any more! Example Ring Roads! We waste fuel crawling behind heavy vehicles, but must still stop/start at unsynchronised lights! White lines on roads are non-existent, which poses just another danger for night travellers! Garbage litters our streets, which is a people person that reflects on bad parenting! Govt buildings are decrepit and shabby.. disgusting! Alberton residents are forced to travel to north to get decent service! Cow dung on our roads because a large herd of cattle is allowed to graze in built-up areas! Deterioration all due to corrupt ANC officials who have bankrupted our municipalities! ROLL-ON 4th Nov elections and we can only pray that every voter does the right thing with their X!
Water
We were over the moon when we had water this morning. The water disappeared later in the morning and still we don't have water! It feels like that someone has just cut the water supply. What is going on?
